COACHES
Meet the dedicated coaching staff of Sprayberry Men's Soccer. They bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for developing our players both on and off the field.
Tajay Higgins
Head Coach
Coach Higgins holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's of Science in Sports Administration. With 10 years of coaching experience, including 8 years at the high school level, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teams. His background is further enriched by his collegiate playing experience at the University of Mobile and St. Thomas University, where he developed the skills and passion he now imparts to his athletes.
Gil Aitken
Assistant Coach
Coach Aitken holds a BS in Math Education from the University of Oklahoma, an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Kennesaw State University, and an Ed.S. in Secondary Education from the University of West Georgia. Now in his 3rd year of coaching, all at Sprayberry High School, he brings a strong foundation of 13 years of teaching experience, including 9 years at Campbell Middle School in Smyrna, Georgia, and 4 years at Sprayberry. An Army veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, Coach Aiken’s discipline and dedication are evident both in and out of the classroom.
Dustin Kinser
Assistant Coach
With 13 years of teaching experience and 8 years in coaching, Coach Kinser is currently in his 3rd year at Sprayberry High School. He holds a BS in Math, a BA in Education, an M.Ed, and an Ed.S in Curriculum & Instruction, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. Their approach combines academic rigor with a passion for developing well-rounded athletes.
